Lillehammer Winter Olympics 1994

The small picturesque town was host to the XVII Olympic Winter Games with sixty seven countries and 1, 737 athletes participating. The Olympic flame was skied down the skijump before being lit in the cauldron by Crown Prince Haakon Magnus.
With the Norwegian athletes taking so many medals, Marc painted so many Norwegian flags that the red colour in his paint box ran out!
