Paris is full of diversity and Marc loves to stop in the market to paint and chat to the local residents, nearly always ending up in a cafe after, to meet friends. Paris is also a fashion capital, giving Marc many elegant and glamorous people to draw – walking down the street or seated on a bench overlooking the Seine river.
This is the home of Marc’s art school and he loves to come whenever he can to find new streets or cafes to capture on paper.
Drawing becomes more of an instrument to meet strangers – a bridge to meet many interesting people that the artist would have otherwise never met.
Marc says, “Maybe this is why I draw, because I was shy. I drew so much that I am not shy anymore!”
