St Nicholas Apartments, N1

Welcome to St Nicholas apartments and studios!

The apartment facing St Nicholas cathedral is called N1. It is a historical apartment with high ceilings and mouldings, old chimneys, antique furniture and artwork from all around the world decorates the walls. Most of the windows have an amazing view over the Saint Nicholas cathedral and its park. From the balcony of Tatiana studio in the N1 you may have your evening vodka and enjoy the panorama from Trotsky cathedral , the Griboedova canal to the St Nicholas park.

The apartments are situated in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by canals, you may find supermarkets 3 mins  away and open 24h but I prefer to go to the farmers market  at Sennaia square where you can buy fresh fruits and milk products and caviar by the spoon…

Restaurants are nearby and the closest one is in our building and we suggest you to buy bread there which they bake everyday but you better order it the day before with butter and honey or red caviar and lemon. Delicious…

Dostoievsky used to stroll around this area and Raskolnikov his hero walk by the Youssopov park, had a vaguely look at the park and continue his way to Sennaia square and took the first street on the right…..

Ermitage museum and the famous Nevsky avenue are 15mn away by bus and 25 mn if you walk around the canals. See transports for more details and have a good walk.

Description:
A living room with a sofa bed, a led television to save energy with euro news and many other channels, dvd players and the most important : a music system to plug your ipod or use ours with many classical music from Russian musician to Chopin and Jazz music from New Orleans to  put you in the right mood in the morning.

A very large kitchen around 35m2 where you can sit more than 8 guests, the kitchen is all equipped with  a stove, fridge, a freezer to keep your vodka cold and a toaster to prepare your toast with  caviar from the nearby market. A dishwasher is also available but on demand.

Bedrooms:
The apartment has 3 closed bedrooms but the first one is called Tatiana studio and can be rented separately.

So if it is possible you may only rent 2 bedrooms.

The first bedroom, called Kirillm, has a view on the yard and is very quiet, a beautiful mural representing Sennaia square  takes you back to the 19th century.

A large bed with two different mattress  and pillows will offer you a good night sleep to recover from the long walks around the city.

The second bedroom, called Roman, has a view over the cathedral and the room has mural representing all the existing  cathedrals and churches around our neighborhood and the one that communist era have destroyed .

That bedroom has a large bed 1.60 x200 and a small bed 90x 200

Bathroom:
A large bathroom with a queen size bathtub, a toilet  and a washing machine ( optional ).

The second bathroom has a shower and a toilet and a small sink.
